Schedule/Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Summary:
The Former is responsible for preparing and setting up fixtures for the forming and bending of steel tube elements using blueprints and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing quality components in a manufacturing environment.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and set up form fixtures, bend fixtures, and tooling according to blueprint specifications.
  • Install, form, and complete steel tube elements per mold and production requirements.
  • Perform quality inspections using measuring devices, electrical equipment, and inspection tools.
  • Transfer completed formed elements to the foundry or stock area and operate sandblasting equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to use hand and pneumatic tools, including wrenches, hammers, and chisels.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, calipers, scales, rulers, thread sizes, and diameters.
  • Basic computer skills, including Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; overhead crane experience is a plus.
