Material Handler - 1st Shift

Location: New Berlin, WI
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM)

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler to join our manufacturing team in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The Material Handler is responsible for moving raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility to support production operations and on-time customer deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Supply production lines with required materials and components.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips.
• Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions using warehouse management systems or ERP software.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities.
• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures.
• Work closely with production, shipping, and receiving teams to ensure efficient material flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems is a plus.
• Dependable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
