Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Setup Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Bedford Park, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating CNC equipment while ensuring quality standards and production goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery according to production specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments as needed.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments to verify quality.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary corrections.
• Monitor production runs to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Complete required production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC machine setup experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Manufacturing experience in metal fabrication, machining, or related fields preferred.
