Express Employment Professionals is seeking a qualified Contract Administrator/Buyer with experience in government contracting and procurement. The successful candidate will support purchasing operations, contract administration, supplier negotiations, and compliance with federal acquisition requirements while ensuring cost-effective procurement of materials and services.

Job Details

• Salary Range: $60,000 - $100,000 annually.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• On-site, in-office position - Winter Park, FL 32792
• Benefits - Once hired permanently:
  • PTO: 1 Week.
  • Sick Leave: 3 Days.
  • Paid Holidays: 6 Paid Holidays.
  • Healthcare: 50% employer-paid coverage.

Job Duties

• Administer purchasing and contracting activities in accordance with applicable government regulations and company policies.
• Review and interpret government solicitations, bid packages, technical drawings, and applicable FAR/DFARS clauses.
• Prepare and manage bid requests, supplier quotations, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate procurement schedules and ensure timely acquisition of materials and services.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery requirements with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and support audits, reporting, and contract compliance activities.

Requirements

• Must have Government Contract knowledge, including FAR and DFARS regulations.
• Must have Department of Defense (DoD) procurement experience.
• Must have purchasing, procurement, buying, or contract administration experience.
