Key responsibilities include performing in-process/final inspections, verifying compliance with blueprints/specifications, documenting non-conformances, and using precision measuring tools to maintain high-precision, FOD-free, and safe aerospace manufacturing environments.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Inspections: Conduct receiving, in-process, first article (FAI), and final inspections of aircraft components to ensure compliance with drawings, technical data, and specifications.
  • Documentation & Recording: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of inspections, test failures, and certifications; prepare detailed reports on findings, deviations, and corrective actions.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all work adheres to quality standards such as AS9100D, ISO 9001, and FAA regulations.
  • Non-Conformance Handling: Identify and document,Non-Conforming Material (NCM), and collaborate with engineering to resolve quality problems.
  • Tool Calibration: Calibrate and use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
  • Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support quality management system policies.
  • Safety: Maintain a Foreign Object Damage (FOD) free work area and adhere to all safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: 3+ years in aerospace quality inspection or related manufacturing, with proficiency in reading blueprints, engineering orders, and technical manuals.
