1st Shift MIG Welder (PAYROLL)

Located in Kansas City, MO

Salary: $20/Hour - $25/Hour

MIG Welders, 1st shift 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday with some Fridays.  Pay DOE but would start no less than $20/hour.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Determine from drawings, information or standard practice, the welding sequence, type and size  of electrode, machine settings and tools required. 
• Perform fit up and related layout, and welding.
• Make allowance for distortion during fit up and weld.
• Change gas cylinders, wire reels, cables, gas lines, wire holder and wire.
• Heavy metal fabrication-- MIG
• Weld 1.5" to 4" multi-pass welding

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of MIG welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints;.
• 3-5+ years in custom build shop preferred. 
• Ability to read and interpret 3D Prints/schematics to complete standard work
