Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Front End Loader Operator to join our team at a cattle feed yard in Lockney, Texas. This position plays a key role in daily feed yard operations by operating a front-end loader to move feed ingredients, load mixers, maintain feed storage areas, and assist with general yard maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a front-end loader to move feed commodities and other materials
• Load feed trucks and mixing equipment according to feeding schedules
• Maintain feed storage areas and commodity sheds
• Assist with feed mill and yard operations as needed
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Follow all company safety procedures and feed yard protocols
• Assist with general facility maintenance and cleanup projects

Qualifications

• Previous front-end loader, skid steer, or heavy equipment experience preferred
• Agricultural, feed yard, farming, construction, or related experience is a plus
• Ability to safely operate equipment in various weather conditions
• Basic mechanical knowledge preferred
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
• Valid driver's license preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb in and out of equipment multiple times per day
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, and dusty conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work around livestock and agricultural equipment

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday through Friday
• Weekend and overtime hours may be required during busy periods
