Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and hardworking Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our team at a cattle feed yard in Lockney, Texas. This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the facility through mowing, weed eating, grounds cleanup, and general outdoor maintenance.

The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping facilities neat and safe, and can work independently with minimal supervision. Mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass and maintain landscaped areas throughout the feed yard property
• Perform weed eating, edging, and trimming around buildings, fences, and equipment
• Pick up trash and debris and maintain overall property cleanliness
• Assist with general grounds maintenance and facility upkeep
• Operate and maintain lawn care equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed
• Report equipment issues and property concerns to management
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous lawn care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Mechanically inclined individuals are encouraged to apply
• Experience operating mowers, weed eaters, and other outdoor equipment is a plus
