We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Yard Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of a cattle feeding facility in Plainview, TX. This position is responsible for maintaining feedyard infrastructure, equipment, and utilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience with welding, plumbing, and basic electrical work and enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep throughout the feedyard.
• Troubleshoot and repair fences, gates, pens, water systems, and feedyard structures.
• Utilize welding skills to repair equipment, corrals, metal structures, and facilities.
• Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance on water lines, tanks, valves, and livestock watering systems.
• Conduct basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting on equipment and facility systems.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs of feeding equipment and related infrastructure.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance, construction, agriculture, feedyard, ranch, or industrial environments preferred.
• Must have experience with welding, plumbing, or electrical repairs.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
