Custodian / Janitor (Direct Hire)

 

Full-Time | Day Shift | $22.75–$24.75 per Hour

What You'll Do

 

As a Custodian, you'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional manufacturing environment. Daily responsibilities include:

• Dusting offices and common areas
• Emptying trash and recycling
• Sweeping and vacuuming floors
• Cleaning restrooms, kitchens, and lunchrooms
• Cleaning industrial shop areas
• Operating commercial floor scrubbers
• Maintaining tile floors
• Stripping and waxing floors as needed
• Ensuring all work areas remain clean, organized, and safe

 

What We're Looking For

 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience
• Experience cleaning in an industrial or manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Experience operating commercial floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial equipment
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning products and safe cleaning practices
• Experience with tile floor maintenance and floor waxing
• Ability to perform the physical demands of custodial work, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching throughout the day
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
