Express Employment Professionals of Everett, WA is hiring Junk Removal Specialist for a busy clean-up company based in Arlington, WA.

Are you energetic, dependable, and enjoy staying active while helping customers? This position offers a unique combination of customer service, teamwork, and physical work. Every day is different as you assist residential and commercial customers with the removal of unwanted items and materials.

Location: Arlington, WA

Schedule Options:

• Day Shift: Start time at 7:15 a.m. until done 
• Occasional Swing Shift Openings, As Needed: Start time between 10:15 AM-11:15 AM
• End times vary based on route completion and project needs

Pay: $20.77 per hour plus tips!

Employees report to the Arlington office each day and ride with the driver to customer locations.

Position Summary

The removal specialist is a friendly, uniformed frontline employee responsible for the safe removal, loading, transportation, and disposal of junk and unwanted materials. This role requires exceptional customer service, teamwork, and a commitment to safety while representing the company at residential and commercial properties.

Successful team members consistently deliver professional, on-time service while maintaining a positive attitude and creating a great customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely remove, load, transport, and unload junk and recyclable materials.
• Provide outstanding customer service at every job site.
• Assist customers with questions and provide accurate service estimates.
• Maintain a professional appearance and wear company uniforms according to standards.
• Perform daily truck inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading a variety of items, including furniture, appliances, construction debris, and household goods.
• Dispose of materials at approved recycling and disposal facilities.
• Complete assigned routes efficiently and assist fellow team members as needed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and the Operations Manager throughout the workday.
• Complete required paperwork and job documentation accurately.
• Participate in marketing activities, including sign waving, placing door hangers, setting up yard signs, and other promotional efforts.
• Maintain clean trucks, equipment, and work areas.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
• Heavy lifting throughout shift
• Getting on/off truck, going up/down stairs carrying loads
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliable transportation to the Arlington office.
• Ability to work flexible hours with variable end times.
• Experience in moving, delivery, warehouse, general labor, landscaping, construction, or junk removal is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license is a plus but not required for Truck Team Members.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to lift heavier items with team assistance.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, climbing stairs, and walking throughout the day.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work for extended periods.
