As the Region Vice President, you will lead all operations and product lines for the Southern Oregon Division. In this role, you’ll drive strategic initiatives to ensure safety, promote growth, strengthen returns and align with the company’s competitive goals.

What You Get to Do!
• Responsible for developing operational plans that include finance, competitor and market assessments and labor needs.
• Identify and plan for capital improvements and maintenance needs to support the operations.
• Closely monitor material pricing to maintain a competitive advantage within the markets.
• Oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the division to ensure that projects are on schedule and within budget.
• Partner with safety and environmental leaders to enforce and support safe practices and policies.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with major customers and seek out potential customers.
• Lead labor contract negotiations, participate in arbitrations, resolve disputes and maintain relationships with local union business representatives.
• Work with leadership teams and vendors to oversee the maintenance and replacement programs of equipment, plants and other facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Develop organizational structure to support the current and long-term business plan.
• Provide leadership and vision to foster team member growth and retention.
What You Will Bring…
• Ten or more years of proven progressive construction materials or related industry experience
• At least three years in a senior leadership role with proven success managing complex operations, capital projects, and full P&L accountability.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Construction Management, Engineering or related field of study or equivalent experience.
• Labor relations experience with negotiating and resolving disputes preferred.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, written) and experience working with difficult people under high stress situations.
• Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.
• Strong product knowledge.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, lead and mentor others.
• Ability to build & maintain relationships with agencies & community leaders.
• Regulatory compliance knowledge for OSHA, MSHA, EPA, NLRA, FLSA and relevant state and federal statutes.
• Ability to travel on short notice and for extended periods.
• A valid driver's license is required.
