Warehouse Lead

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations while leading a team to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supervising warehouse employees, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support warehouse staff, providing daily directions and training.
• Lead daily picking, packing, and shipping operations to ensure accuracy and on-time order fulfillment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks.
• Process customer returns and ensure proper documentation and inventory adjustments.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and inventory control procedures.
• Coordinate workflow to meet daily production and shipping deadlines.
• Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
• Assist with resolving shipping discrepancies and inventory issues.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records and communicate operational updates with management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience using inventory or warehouse management systems preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Forklift certification is preferred or the ability to become certified upon hire.
