Chiller Filter Worker

 

Schedule:

1st shift: 6 am - 2:30 pm - Pay rate $21/HR DOE

2nd shift: 2 pm - 10:30 pm - Pay rate $23/HR DOE

3rd Shift: 10 pm - 6:30am - pay rate $25 /HR DOE

Chiller Filter Worker highlights:

 

• Work side by side with cellar staff in grape and juice processing and finishing operations. Assists in crushing, filtering, chilling, racking, blending, finishing and storage of all products produced at the concentrate facility.

• Follow safe operating procedures, support safety programs and policies to safeguard personal safety, company property, environmental and team member’s safety.
• Clean, sanitize and sterilize equipment, apply general housekeeping practices\
• Tank maintenance: racking, sulfuring
• Racking and Blending – Hooking up required hoses, pumps, and fittings to accomplish racking (transfer) of juice from tank to tank, bladder to tank, or as per written work orders.
• Tank Washing and Sanitization – Hooking up all required hoses using various clamps, gaskets, to the pump and then to the tank washer. Properly and safely using chemical detergents to wash and sanitize the tanks inside and out.

What we look for in a Chiller Filter Worker:

• Previous Cellar experience highly REQUIRED
• Able to work safely in busy production environment and around equipment and chemicals
• Good communication skills- oral and written - able to communicate with supervisors and co-workers (bilingual Spanish and English a plus)
• Standing for long periods of time
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Attention to detail
• Able to read, understand and follow directions
