Part-Time CDL A

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Class A CDL Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely transporting materials and completing scheduled local deliveries while providing excellent customer service and maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations.

The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, values safety, and enjoys being home every day with no overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

Transportation & Delivery

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on local routes.
• Transport and deliver materials according to scheduled routes.
• Load and unload materials as needed.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured during transport.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Report vehicle maintenance concerns or safety issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Operate equipment safely and professionally.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Excellent time management and dependability.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with local delivery routes.
• Forklift or material handling experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle inspections.

Schedule

Job Type: Part-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
