Lathe Machinist – Direct Hire

Location: Olympia, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Pay: $20.00–$35.00 per hour (DOE)

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Lathe Machinist for a well-established manufacturing company in Olympia, WA. This is a direct hire opportunity, allowing you to join the company's team immediately.

Job Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate multi-axis CNC lathes to produce high-quality, tight-tolerance machined parts.
• Monitor multiple CNC machines to ensure efficient production and quality standards.
• Complete production reports and quality documentation accurately.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and follow manufacturer guidelines for equipment care.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide feedback to management to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, edit, and program NC code.
• Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• AS9100 experience is preferred but not required.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to producing quality work with attention to detail.
