Production Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations and support a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. This position is responsible for coordinating production activities, managing team performance, improving processes, and ensuring operational goals are met.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, manufacturing experience, and the ability to motivate teams while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Production Operations

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Coordinate workflow, schedules, and resources to meet production goals.
• Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure products are completed according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Assist with resolving production challenges and operational issues.

Team Leadership

• Lead, train, and support production employees.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
• Assist with staffing needs and employee development.

Quality & Safety

• Maintain compliance with safety policies and workplace procedures.
• Support quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
• Encourage a culture focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Communication & Organization

• Collaborate with management and other departments to support company goals.
• Maintain production records and reports.
• Communicate priorities, expectations, and updates effectively.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or operations leadership preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising production teams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with production planning and scheduling.
