Electrical Technician 

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical systems and components. This position involves hands-on electrical work, panel assembly, and collaboration with other departments to support overall production needs.

The ideal candidate has experience with electrical assembly, enjoys hands-on work, and is comfortable learning new skills while supporting both electrical and mechanical operations.

Responsibilities

Electrical Assembly

• Assemble and wire electrical panels according to specifications.
• Cut, route, and install electrical wiring and components.
• Perform electrical assembly tasks involving various systems and applications.
• Work with electrical components, wiring, and control systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues.

Mechanical & Production Support

• Assist with mechanical assembly and other production areas as needed.
• Cross-train in multiple departments to support operational needs.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Quality & Safety

• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality requirements are met.
• Maintain organized work areas and proper tool usage.
• Follow electrical and workplace safety guidelines.
• Communicate issues or concerns with supervisors and team members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with electrical assembly, wiring, manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical components, wiring, and panel assembly.
• Comfortable working with hand tools and following technical instructions.
• Ability to understand basic electrical concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn additional skills and cross-train in other areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience assembling electrical panels or control systems.
• Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems.
• Experience working with high-power or low-power electrical applications.
• Mechanical assembly experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
