Inside Sales Representative

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative for a growing Montana-based company serving the timber, lumber, and woodworking industries. This position offers a diverse blend of sales support, customer service, logistics coordination, inventory management, and office administration. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and inside sales support to customers and business partners
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, vendors, and industry contacts
• Support outside sales representatives in managing customer accounts and identifying solutions
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Process orders accurately and ensure timely fulfillment
• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities
• Arrange UPS, freight, and LTL shipments, including preparation of Bills of Lading (BOLs)
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory replenishment efforts
• Operate a forklift safely to move materials and inventory as needed
• Maintain accurate records and support efficient workflow processes
• Perform general administrative and office support duties
• Collaborate with team members to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and operational success

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, inside sales, office administration, or a related field preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Professional, responsive, and solution-oriented approach to customer service
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, email, and office software
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Forklift experience preferred, or willingness to complete training
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis
