Counter Sales & Customer Service Representative

Downtown Asheville | $18–$20 per hour | Full-Time

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers and answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
• Help customers identify the HVAC and refrigeration products they need
• Answer product questions and provide knowledgeable customer service
• Enter and process customer orders, invoices, credits, and returns
• Research products and assist with product availability and replenishment
• Load and unload company, customer, and delivery vehicles using proper equipment
• Receive, organize, and put away incoming stock
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with additional warehouse and counter responsibilities as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous sales, customer service, counter sales, or HVAC/R experience is preferred
• Basic knowledge of heating, air conditioning, or refrigeration is helpful
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers
• Comfortable using computers to research products and process orders
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, stretch, and climb ladders throughout the workday
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working around chemicals and solvents
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Schedule and Pay

• Full-time position
• $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience
• Located in downtown Asheville
• Some overtime and weekend work may be required during the busy summer season
• Opportunity to learn the HVAC/R industry and grow with the company

Candidates must be able to pass a background check and five-panel drug screen.
