Salary: Starting at $80,000 - no cap DOE, with flexibility to offer a higher salary for exceptional senior-level candidates.

 

Schedule: Full-Time

 

We're seeking two experienced Mechanical Engineers to join a growing engineering team in Kings County. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong machine design and manufacturing experience who enjoy taking projects from concept through production.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
• Create detailed mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Perform tolerance analysis, GD&T, and detailed component drawings.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate designs and improve performance.
• Lead projects from concept, prototyping, testing, and final production.
• Optimize machine designs for manufacturability, quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Work closely with electrical engineers, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Manage project timelines to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Ensure designs comply with ASME codes and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or comparable 3D CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and mechanical drafting.
• Experience with machine design and mechanical system integration.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, fabrication, and assembly.
• Experience performing FEA and engineering simulations.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Industrial or manufacturing engineering experience is highly preferred.
