We are partnering with a well-established restoration and reconstruction company serving residential and commercial clients throughout Southeastern Wisconsin to identify a motivated Carpenter for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This position offers the potential to transition into a permanent role, with a comprehensive benefits package available upon hire by our client.

Position Summary

The Carpenter will perform a variety of rough and finish carpentry tasks on residential and commercial reconstruction projects resulting from fire, water, storm, and other property damage. This position works directly on job sites, collaborating with project managers and construction professionals to restore properties safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate is dependable, solutions-oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach. Candidates with experience in carpentry, remodeling, renovations, home improvement, restoration, property maintenance, or general construction are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of rough and finish carpentry.
• Complete reconstruction, remodeling, repair, and restoration projects.
• Follow project plans, scopes of work, and direction from project management teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve job-site challenges as they arise.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Ensure job site safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, subcontractors, and team members.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining company quality standards.
• Travel to residential and commercial job sites throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Construction, carpentry, remodeling, restoration, or related experience preferred, but not required.
• General knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices is helpful.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills through hands-on training.
• Comfortable using smartphones and mobile technology.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 65 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.
• Fluent in English; bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
