Shift: 1st Shift (Overtime as Needed)
Pay: Based on Experience

Position Summary

Our client in Eastlake is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Compounder to join their manufacturing team. This position is responsible for accurately measuring, mixing, and preparing raw materials according to production formulas while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Measure, weigh, and mix raw materials according to batch formulas and work instructions.
• Operate mixing, blending, and compounding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Verify raw materials and batch documentation before production.
• Monitor mixing times, temperatures, and processing conditions to ensure product quality.
• Record production data accurately and complete required documentation.
• Perform quality checks and report any discrepancies or equipment issues.
• Clean and sanitize mixing equipment and work areas between batches.
• Move raw materials and finished products using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
• Follow all GMP, OSHA, and company safety procedures.
• Assist with inventory control and maintain an organized work area.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, mixing, compounding, or batch-making experience preferred.
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and follow written formulas, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Basic math skills for weighing and measuring materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment, powders, and chemicals while wearing required PPE.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
