POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technician is a certified classification position within the Technician Career Path.
The Technician is expected to demonstrate a general knowledge of industry operations and technical skills in order to operate independently within the defined service area.
The Technician receives, assembles, installs, services, repairs and delivers Complex Rehab Equipment according to specifications. The Technician operates in various environments including professional office, warehouse, and field settings. Employee must be able to lift 50 pounds to perform most aspects of the position.
The Technician is a developmental role with the ability to learn general knowledge of CRT and Technical Services Policies and Procedures while achieving exceptional operational standards.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪ Tests, diagnoses, and services client owned, rental, and loaner equipment. Cleans and maintains all equipment to ensure proper working order.
▪ General understanding of NSM enterprise software order entry, labor capture, chair assembly, repair, and diagnostic skills.
▪ Demonstrates general knowledge of assembly, installation, and processing of all equipment.
▪ Must be able to utilize Personal Protective Equipment in accordance with Infection Control

▪ Maintains customer satisfaction and relays customer comments or concerns about all products or services to appropriate manager or staff personnel.
▪ Receives shipments, processes product returns, maintains warehouse and vehicle inventory.
▪ Demonstrates ability to educate customers and caregivers in the proper use, care, and safety of equipment purchased, rented, or repaired.
▪ Maintains repair shop and warehouse in clean and safe condition meeting all accreditation standards.
▪ General knowledge of diagnostics and programming adjustments.
▪ Completes Technician standard training curriculums.
▪ Accesses current information and technological advancements from manufacturers on installations, repairs, and part replacements for all products.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
▪ High School diploma/GED required.
▪ 1-2 years of experience in CRT or related fields. Experience in manufacturing, assembly and repair of mechanical or electronic devices is preferred.
▪ Must meet the Certified Technician advancement criteria as per the Certification Program.
▪ ▪ Knowledge of basic computer related skills such as use of mobile devices, internet, e-mail and enterprise software.
▪ Previous experience in using hand, power tools and working with raw materials is preferred.
▪ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
▪This job operates in various settings including, professional office settings, warehouse settings, and some field settings.
