Grinder Operator/Shop Helper

 $14–$16/hr. DOE | Full-Time | Broussard, LA 

A local company is looking for a dependable Shop Helper to assist with daily shop operations, including grinding, material handling, and general shop support. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily shop operations

• Grind and prepare materials as needed

• Support shop personnel

• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the shop

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Previous shop or manufacturing experience preferred

• Experience using hand and power tools is a plus

• Ability to safely use grinders and other shop equipment

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday; 10-hour shifts

Pay:

• Starts at $14–$16 per hour, depending on experience
