Accounting Assistant

Location: Lafayette, IN
Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour (based on experience)

A well-established Lafayette company is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support its accounting and administrative team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and helping multiple departments.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry with accuracy and attention to detail
Scan, file, and organize accounting documents
Complete daily bank transfers and other routine accounting tasks
Run business-related errands as needed
Assist the HR, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams with special projects
Provide general administrative support to the accounting department

Qualifications

Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or office administrative experience preferred
Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Professional communication and a team-oriented attitude
