Express Employment Professionals is looking for hardworking candidates with construction experience to work for a local Cheyenne company. You will be responsible for running an industrial chop-saw. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity for permanent employment! Great Benefits are offered once you become a permanent employee!

 

Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday 

Pay: $19.00/hr. 

 

Job Duties:

• Reading Cut Sheets: Understanding blueprints, work orders, or digital readouts to know the exact dimensions and angles needed.
• Machine Setup: Adjusting saw guides, stops, and blades for single or multi-blade saws.
• Quality Control: Checking the lumber for defects (like knots or cracks) and using measurement tools (like tape measures) to ensure pieces are cut exactly right.
• Stacking and Bundling: Sorting the cut pieces into groups and labeling them so the assembly team can easily build the final truss.
• Equipment Maintenance: Doing pre-shift safety checks, changing blades, and keeping the saw clean.

Skills Required to be successful:

• Basic Math Skills
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure 
• Confidently uses hand and power tools
• Willingness to learn different parts of the job
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
