We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Apartment Turnover Cleaner to prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents. This position is responsible for performing a thorough, top-to-bottom cleaning of apartments after all maintenance and repair work has been completed. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering a spotless, move-in-ready home and works efficiently to meet turnover schedules.

Because this position is performed on a U.S. Military installation, applicants must be able to obtain base access, which requires passing a background screening and meeting all military installation access requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning of vacant apartment homes after maintenance work has been completed.
• Clean kitchens, including cabinets, countertops, sinks, appliances, and floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, vanities, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Dust and wipe all surfaces, doors, trim, baseboards, windowsills, and light fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets and sweep and mop hard surface flooring.
• Clean interior windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Remove debris and ensure apartments are clean, presentable, and move-in ready.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues or damage noticed during the cleaning process.
• Follow company safety procedures and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good working condition.
• Complete assigned apartments within established deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous residential, apartment, hotel, or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, standing, climbing stairs, and reaching throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning products and equipment.

Work Environment

This position involves working in vacant residential apartments and requires frequent walking, standing, lifting, bending, stooping, and climbing stairs. Employees will work with standard cleaning chemicals and equipment while adhering to all company and military installation safety policies.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday.
