Maintenance Technician – 1 month assignment July 22-Aug 22

Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Saturday | 8:00 AM–7:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Maintenance Technicians to support the overall maintenance and appearance of residential properties. This role is responsible for diagnosing maintenance issues, completing repairs, performing preventative maintenance, and responding to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate has general maintenance experience, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to providing excellent customer service.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
• Complete preventative maintenance and routine property inspections.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and work orders.
• Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the property.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and environmental guidelines.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours maintenance coverage.
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Assist with additional maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of general maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of one or more of the following:
• HVAC
• Plumbing
• Electrical
• Carpentry
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to complete repairs within established timeframes.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry 50–75 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, reach, and work both indoors and outdoors for extended periods.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and around occupied residential properties.
