Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Forklift Operator to fill a 1st shift opening in Warren Country for a local recycling and material processing facility. This is a hands-on position responsible for operating a forklift, moving and processing materials throughout the facility, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting daily plant operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect forklift equipment before each shift and complete required operator documentation
• Safely operate a forklift to move loose and palletized materials throughout the facility
• Transport wheels, baskets, tubs, and processed materials between staging, processing, cooling, and storage areas
• Move materials to assigned bunkers, hoppers, processing lines, and loading areas
• Assist with processing aluminum, copper, turnings, and other recyclable materials according to production needs
• Feed materials into processing equipment and production lines as assigned
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and support shipping and receiving operations
• Utilize basic hand tools and cleaning equipment as needed
• Clean work areas after processing loads and maintain safe, organized production areas
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Work cooperatively across departments and assist with additional plant duties as production needs require

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience required
• Forklift certification or ability to meet company forklift qualification requirements
• Previous manufacturing, recycling, warehouse, material handling, or industrial experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate equipment in a physically demanding plant environment
• Ability to stand and perform physical work throughout a 10-hour shift
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally perform heavier lifting as required
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions throughout the year
• Comfortable working in dusty industrial environments while wearing required respiratory protection
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools and cleaning equipment
• Strong hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Pay: $15/hr (Benefit Package Available)

Schedule

1st Shift | Approximately 7:00am–5:00pm | 45–50 Hours Per Week
