AZ Truck Driver – Afternoon Shift (Local Route)

Our client is a family-owned Ontario company and an industry leader in municipal, industrial, and agricultural wastewater solutions. They are currently looking for a dependable AZ Truck Driver to join their team on a dedicated afternoon shift.

This position offers consistent local work with no overnight travel. You'll operate a well-maintained tractor-trailer, travelling between Brantford and Toronto, safely transporting loads while enjoying the stability of a regular route.

Wage

$30.00 per hour

Shift:
Monday-Friday | 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate a Class AZ tractor-trailer on a dedicated local route between Brantford and Toronto
• Transport loads safely and efficiently while following all MTO regulations
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Record inspections, hours of service, and load information using an electronic logging system
• Hook and unhook hoses and equipment as required (minimal physical labour)
• Ensure loads are delivered safely and on schedule
• Maintain a clean, professional vehicle and report any maintenance concerns
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures
• Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers and team members

What We're Looking For

• Valid Ontario Class AZ Driver's Licence
• Minimum 2 years of AZ driving experience
• Clean CVOR and Driver's Abstract
• Strong knowledge of MTO regulations and safe driving practices
• Comfortable using electronic logs and mobile technology
• Tanker and B-Train experience is considered an asset, but not required
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Strong communication skills and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
