Our client is a well-established manufacturer and supplier serving the architectural woodworking industry. They specialize in high-quality wood mouldings, trim, and millwork products and are seeking an experienced Estimator / Salesperson to join their team.

Position Summary

This role is responsible for preparing accurate wood moulding and millwork estimates from customer take-offs, managing multiple quotes and customer accounts simultaneously, and building long-term relationships with contractors, builders, and repeat customers. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service, and helping customers find solutions for their projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed wood moulding and trim estimates from customer take-offs and project specifications.
• Manage multiple estimates and customer requests while meeting deadlines.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Follow up on quotations and sales opportunities.
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Conduct occasional customer visits and relationship-building activities (approximately 10% local travel).

Qualifications

Sales and/or estimating experience in one or more of the following industries:

• Construction materials
• Windows
• Lumber yards
• Home Depot Millwork
• Interior millwork
• Retail trim and moulding sales
• Tile counter sales

Preferred Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret customer take-offs and specifications.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• $60,000 annual salary
• Direct Hire
• Flexible start time between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM
• Approximately 10% local travel for client visits
