Rapidly growing biotech company located in Alachua, FL has an immediate opening for 2 new employees on 1st and 3rd shift. This is an exciting opportunity offering the potential for career growth and development.

The ECDS department is responsibility for the cleaning, sterilization and packaging of equipment for use again.

1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (hours may vary slightly), 17.00/hr to start

3rd shift, Sun- Thu, 10pm-6:30am (hours may vary slightly), 19.25/hr to start

Job duties:

-Responsible for cleaning equipment after use, sterilizing and packaging equipment for future use

-Works safely, uses appropriate PPE and applies adequate aseptic techniques in a clean room / controlled environment while performing individual tasks or contributing to a team effort.

-Follows requirements to properly dispose hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

-Accurately completes paperwork and performs data entry in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.

-Stores and moves tissue in appropriate locations to ensure accurate inventories of tissue in-process.

-Performs cycle count activities in accordance with SOP's.

Requirements:

-HS Diploma or GED

-Reliable transportation

-AA or higher in science related field, or

-1+ years of experience in healthcare or laboratory setting or

-1+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing

-Capable of lifting up to 35-60 pounds consistently during each shift

-Ability to stand and work for 8 - 10 hour shifts
