General Laborer

Pay Rate: $19.00–$24.00/hour (Based on experience)
Position Type: Temporary Assignment (1–2 months) with potential for long-term hire

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable General Laborers to assist with a variety of construction and electrical support tasks at job sites throughout the Red River Valley. This is a great opportunity for individuals with construction experience who enjoy working outdoors, performing hands-on work, and being part of a team. Electrical experience is a plus but is not required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform general site preparation, including shoveling and cleanup
  • Assist crews with ground wire installation
  • Load, unload, and move materials and supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site
  • Provide support to construction and electrical crews as needed
  • Operate a skid steer if qualified (not required)

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license required
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various job sites throughout the Red River Valley
  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Previous construction experience preferred
  • Electrical experience is a plus but not required
  • Skid steer experience is beneficial but not required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and shovel throughout the workday
  • Ability to frequently lift 50–60 pounds
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Schedule

  • Hours may vary depending on job site location and project needs

Dress Code & Safety Requirements

  • Long pants required (no shorts)
  • No cutoff shirts
  • Safety-toe boots required
  • All other required PPE will be provided
  • Initial safety orientation provided upon placement
  • Additional safety training may be required for certain job sites

Assignment Details

This is a temporary assignment expected to last approximately 1–2 months. Outstanding performers may be considered for permanent employment opportunities based on performance, attendance, and business needs.
