Overview:  Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Construction General Laborer for a growing construction company serving residential and light commercial projects throughout Kitsap County and surrounding areas. This hands-on role supports a variety of construction, remodeling, exterior improvement, handyman, and site preparation projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, eager to learn, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Responsibilities may include assisting with decks, fences, outbuildings, remodeling projects, material handling, demolition, cleanup, and general job site support.

 

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

• Assist carpenters and construction crews with residential and light commercial projects
• Load, unload, move, and organize tools, equipment, and construction materials
• Perform site preparation and cleanup before, during, and after projects
• Assist with deck, fence, shed, workshop, and exterior improvement projects
• Support remodeling, repair, and installation work
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Perform demolition and deconstruction activities as directed
• Assist with hauling, disposal, and material salvage efforts
• Dig, level, and prepare work areas for construction activities
• Follow all company safety procedures and job site requirements
• Complete additional labor tasks as assigned by project lead or supervisor

Requirements:

• Previous construction, landscaping, demolition, or general labor experience is preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized environment

Hours/Shift:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm

 

Pay:
$25-30 / hour DOE
