General Labor Associate – Recycling & Material Processing Bilingual 

 

Pay: $16.00/hour
Schedule:

• Tuesday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• 38 hours per week

Location: 127th & Pulaski

 

Job Overview
We are seeking dependable General Labor Associates to support daily recycling and material processing operations. This position involves sorting, feeding, and separating recyclable materials while working safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Move aluminum cans from collection bins onto a conveyor system for processing.
• Load metal coils into a stripping machine that separates plastic insulation from metal wire.
• Remove and separate plastic materials from processed metal wire at the end of the production line.
• Assist with receiving and organizing incoming recyclable materials.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical work throughout the shift.
• Steel toe shoes are required.
• Company will provide work gloves.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, recycling, warehouse, or general labor is helpful but not required.
• Must be dependable with good attendance and able to work the scheduled hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
