Sit Down Forklift Driver - Rotating Shift

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Sit-Down Forklift Operators with at least 1 year recent sit-down forklift experience in Sellersburg, IN. This is a temp-to-hire position working the following schedule:  Friday and Saturday 6AM to 6PM and Sunday and Monday 6PM to 6AM.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment (Sit-down forklift) during material handling and warehouse as required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving and shipping of parts, materials, equipment and supplies.
• Operate equipment in warehouse, in and out of trailers, and within safety zones.
• Verify quantities, parts, destinations, and timing prior to moving materials.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
• Requires lifting/lowering, pushing or pulling various items of varying weight (up to 50lbs.).
• Requires work from heights of up to 20ft from floor.

Qualifications Needed

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1+ years of Sit Down Forklift experience.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to read/write English for documentation purposes.
• BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREEN REQUIRED
