Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (Saturday availability of 5–8 hours as needed)
Pre-Employment: Physical and drug screen required

 

Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Shipping & Receiving Clerk for an aerospace manufacturing facility. This role involves receiving, inspecting, packaging, and shipping materials while ensuring accuracy, quality, and inventory control.

 

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials
• Use calipers, scales, and measuring tools to inspect parts
• Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems
• Perform cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Operate pallet jacks (forklift training available)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience using calipers and precision measuring tools required
• 2+ years of shipping/receiving or manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic computer skills (ERP systems, Excel, email)
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 40 lbs.

Preferred:

• Aerospace manufacturing experience
• Forklift experience
• Knowledge of inventory systems and aerospace compliance standards
