Labor Coordinator

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting a Labor Coordinator.  The Labor Coordinator is responsible for all workforce activity across the terminal.  This role is responsible for the staffing of every vessel discharge, warehouse shift, rail operation, and special project.  They work closely with supervisors to forecast labor, manage vendors, order labor to assignment, attendance verification, spot-check compliance, and end of shift reporting.  They will track and oversee daily labor needs and adjust as necessary.  Prepare daily reports including: attendance, turnover, and labor costs as needed.

 

Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in recruitment, staffing or managing labor for projects. 

Flexible to work long hours and weekends and adjust according to project.

Strong Communication Skills both written and verbal

Team player and exceptional customer service skills

Strong computer skills including microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
