Temporary Assignment for 2 months
Key Responsibilities
Operate production saw equipment safely and efficiently.
Cut metal to specifications with precision, maintaining tolerances as tight as 1/32 inch.
Read production orders and verify material specifications before cutting.
Ensure all finished product meets required dimensions using tape measures and calipers.
Maintain safety, quality, and production standards while supplying cut material to all production departments.
Organize and stage cut materials to support efficient workflow.
Perform routine equipment checks and maintain equipment for maximum productivity.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Ability to accurately read a tape measure down to 1/32 inch.
Experience using manual or digital calipers to verify measurements.
Manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or machine operation experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret production work orders.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
Ability to accurately read measurements and calipers.
Ability to maintain equipment for maximum proficiency and efficiency.
Ability to work at a fast, steady pace while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively.
Commitment to following all safety procedures and quality standards.
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
Frequently lift 50lbs consistently, move, and handle metal materials.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions.
Comfortable working around industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment.
$20.00/hour starting pay
Four-day work week (Monday–Thursday)
Three-day weekends
