Forklift Operator / Construction Material Handler – Baton Rouge, LA

EVALUATION HIRE

$16.75 / hr.

Day Shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (Monday through Friday)

 

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for a Forklift Operator / Construction Material Handler for a local client in East Baton Rouge. This position is an evaluation hire, and there is potential to become an internal employee at this organization. 

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Operator / Construction Material Handler: 

• Operating Sit-down forklifts to load and unload contractors' trailers with materials. 
• Keeping track of inventory and supply put away. 
• Completing cycle counts and inventory. 
• Customer Service
• Delivery to other locations in company vehicle
• Inventory/Record Keeping
• Keeping the warehouse/storeroom clean and organized

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Forklift Experience required
• Basic Computer skills required
• Steel-toed boots required
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
