Industrial Maintenance Technician

Salary: $25-30/hr

Industrial Maintenance Technician – Wixom, MI

Pay: $25–30/hr (Based on Experience)
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime Available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, including conveyors, robotics, and other industrial equipment.
• Rehome/reset robotic systems and troubleshoot using PLCs (Siemens & Allen Bradley).
• Perform welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, Arc) and lathe work when required.
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures. Install, test, and maintain electrical panels, wiring, sensors, relays, VFDs, and vision systems (Cognex). 
• Support robotic automation, including Kuka, Fanuc, Epson, and Mitsubishi systems.
• Assist in the installation of new robotic cells and material-handling automation.
• Maintain roof vents, plumbing, fixtures, HVAC, and perform basic building repairs.
• Follow Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and adhere to all safety and compliance regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects. Qualifications: 
• PLC & Robotics Knowledge – Familiarity with Siemens & Allen Bradley PLCs and robotic systems (Kuka, Fanuc, Epson, Mitsubishi preferred)
• Mechanical & Electrical Skills – Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, servo motors, gearboxes, and automation systems.

Qualifications: 

• Industrial Maintenance Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in manufacturing maintenance OR completion of a mechatronics vocational program.
