Forklift - Shipping/Receiving

Express Employment is hiring for a Forklift/Shipping & Receiving candidate.  

 

Summary - This position will be expected to use forklifts of various sizes to maneuver corrugated plastic pipe, pallets and boxes, Follow bundling diagrams specific to projects designed by office administration, load and unload trucks daily. Candidates will work directly with the public on occasion, so politeness is key to loading and unloading trailers.

 

Pay - $20.00 DOE

Work Schedule - 5:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri

 

 

Job Requirements

Must be able to safely drive and understand forklift controls and follow all forklift safety rules
Must be able to, safely us hand tools essential to the position. Tools include pneumatic staple and nail guys, skill saw, hammer, sawzall, chop saw, table saw, weed eater and other hand tolls as assigned.
Must be able to read and understand the bundling diagram required for shipping.
Must be willing to help in other departments as needed.
Overtime required during the busy season as needed.

 

Physical Requirements
Must be able to maneuver rolls of steel banding weighing up to 65lbs each to the banding carts required for packaging product. ability to climb off and on forklift and work in hot and cold weather -- 95% of the day you will be exposed to the weather.
