Transportation Driver

About the Role:

Client seeking reliable and safety-focused Transportation Drivers to join our team as part of a third-party mail delivery operation. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and secure transport of mail and parcels between distribution centers, post offices, and designated delivery points.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport mail and packages along assigned routes.
• Load and unload mail containers and ensure proper handling of all items.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete required documentation.
• Adherent to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors regarding route updates or delays.
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of all mail in transit.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in transportation, delivery, or logistics preferred.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in varied weather conditions.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
