Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour DOE + Incentive Opportunities

We are seeking a customer-focused Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist to lead and manage an onsite VMI program within a manufacturing environment. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for the customer, ensuring exceptional service, inventory accuracy, and successful program execution.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while serving as the onsite VMI expert.

• Manage inventory levels, monitor inventory trends, and ensure product availability.

• Enter and expedite customer orders, quotes, and product requests.

• Partner with internal teams to coordinate inventory, purchasing, and operational needs.

• Proactively identify customer needs and provide solutions to ensure a high level of service.

• Assist with warehouse support activities and other onsite duties as needed.

• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of customer-facing experience required.

• Industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or inventory management experience preferred.

• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Prior leadership or team lead experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working in both office and warehouse/manufacturing environments.

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record required.
