Senior Project Manager/Estimator |: $130,000-$180,000

Located in Fargo, ND

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager/Estimator with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the heavy civil and asphalt sectors. This leadership-level position reports directly to the President of the company. The ideal candidate will manage complex projects from conception to completion while ensuring accuracy in estimating and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of heavy civil and asphalt projects, ensuring timely and on-budget completion.
• Develop detailed cost estimates and proposals for projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project teams to create project schedules and manage resources effectively.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to maintain project alignment.
• Review and negotiate contract terms with clients and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to achieve objectives.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management and estimating within the heavy civil and asphalt industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
• Heavy highway/DOT project experience is preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
