Located in Byron Center, MI
Salary: $18.50 + 10% shift premium.
Grinder Job Summary: A fast-paced manufacturing company is seeking an grinder on 2nd shift. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company and take the next in your career! This position would be great for a mechanical minded individual who has knowledge of working with metals. This person will be working with grinders to make sure the parts meet the customers quality expectations. You must be able to stand for long periods of time and use power tools.
Grinder Responsibilities:
- Minimum 6 months experience working in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Functional working knowledge of general hand tools such as Grinders.
- Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, occasional lifting up to 75 pounds. Proper lifting techniques required.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (1pm - 9pm)
Pay: $18.50 + 10% shift premium
Grinder Qualifications:
- Experience working with metals
- Experience working with buffers and grinders
- Excellent attention to details
- National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) preferred, but not required
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 years old or older to work
