Customer Service Representative

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time

Hours: 6:45 AM - 1:30 PM

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday

A well-established local business is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join its team. This position serves as the first point of contact for customers and plays a key role in creating a positive customer experience through professional service, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and enjoys building relationships with customers while ensuring orders are handled accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Receive customer orders and accurately enter information into company systems
  • Process customer transactions and operate the cash register
  • Answer customer questions and resolve concerns in a professional manner
  • Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and preparing the location for daily operations
  • Inspect customer items to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Prepare and process items for production and delivery
  • Heat seal and organize completed orders for customer pickup
  • Assist with transporting items between company locations as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming customer environment
  • Support daily operational needs and administrative tasks

Work Locations

This position requires working at multiple local locations based on business needs.

  • Monday and Tuesday: Primary location assignment
  • Thursday and Friday: Secondary location assignment
  • Every other Saturday: Location may vary

Candidates must be comfortable traveling between locations when needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Retail, hospitality, banking, administrative, or service industry experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of customers
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities without constant supervision
