Custom vehicle manufacturer in Bedford Park is seeking Facility Maintenance for their team.  Must pass drug and background screening.

 

Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm weekdays

 

Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings and surrounding areas. This role includes routine cleaning, minor repairs, and general upkeep to ensure a well-maintained environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

? Perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, fixing minor leaks, replacing filters)

? Inspect facilities for safety hazards and report major repair needs

? Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and maintenance materials

? Set up and break down rooms for meetings or events

? Follow health and safety regulations and procedures

 

Qualifications:

? High school diploma or equivalent (often preferred, not always required)

? Previous maintenance experience is a plus

? Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and repair tools

? Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks

? Strong attention to detail and reliability

 

Skills:

? Time management and ability to work independently

? Basic problem-solving skills

? Good communication

? Knowledge of safety practices

? Experience working with computer software (i.e. excel,

? Forklift experience is a plus

 

Work Environment:

? May involve standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks

? Work may be indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
