Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Welder Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our production team in East Portland. This is a hands-on production welding role focused on meeting quality standards and production goals. The ideal candidate will have experience with both TIG and MIG welding, the ability to read blueprints, and a strong commitment to safety and craftsmanship.

Please Note: Candidates will be required to complete an in-position aluminum TIG welding test during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications
• Perform TIG and MIG welding on aluminum and other materials as required
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld components according to production requirements
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
• Grind, finish, and prepare welded products as needed
• Measure materials and verify dimensions before and after fabrication
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and related tools
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and quality standards
• Meet production schedules and output expectations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven TIG and MIG welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong measurement, fabrication, and layout skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Experience operating and maintaining welding equipment
• Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Understanding of production manufacturing environments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move for extended periods throughout the shift
• Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials as required
• Ability to work safely around welding equipment and fabrication machinery
